Continuous, 24/7 monitoring is something Etherlive has been doing since day one. As a minimum we monitor all devices on site to ensure they are connected and operating, however, for many devices monitoring goes much further with information gathered such as activity, up-time, bandwidth usage, client devices connected and temperature. This helps us ensure that we know about any issues before customers do.
24/7 Support
When there is no engineer on site our central monitoring system is still keeping an eye on everything and should anything happen it automatically alerts and escalates to the engineering support team.
Post Event Analysis
Post-event Etherlive can provide an extensive report which provides the organiser with a summary of what pressure points might exist in the network and, more importantly, provide guidance of what spends should be made next time, for example: Was the internet bandwidth consumed most of the time or was utilisation low? What was the usage split between guests, press and production? What the peak number of simultaneous users? These data points provide insight on whether services can be trimmed or need to be increased ensuring budget is spent wisely.
Information can also be provided on the type of usage – basic web access, streaming, social media, etc. down to a level of individual websites and type of device.
