Role Overview

Project Managers are ultimately responsible for the successful delivery of customer events. This may include, but is not limited to, managing delivery on site, arranging transportation, resource, accommodation, travel and equipment. Working with internal teams, stakeholders and customer. The environment is rewarding, who else gets to sit back and see thousands of people enjoying their teams efforts?

Location of Work

Project managers are required to work from sites and office location as required. Typically ‘remote’ project managers work from home or Wiltshire office, whilst ‘site’ project managers work at larger events to manage the build first hand which can be based throughout the UK and EMEA

Working Hours

Working hours need to be flexible based on customer requirements

Skills and qualities

Desirable experience:

  • Understanding of the events industry
  • Dealing with customers in a commercial environment
  • Communication with suppliers
  • Managing engineering teams to ensure delivery
  • Escalating issues and managing as required
  • Remaining flexible and dynamic to achieve success

Essentials:

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time-management and organisation
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Personal interest in technology/IT
  • Enthusiasm
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong problem solving

All candidates should have the following

  • Full UK driving licence with less than 6 points and access to a vehicle (where vehicle access is not available we will look at alternative transportation where possible)
  • Valid UK work visa
  • Able to work away from home for extended periods if necessary (up to 1 month typically)
  • Understanding of unsociable working hours that are necessary in the events industry
